Rama Khalko Needs Strong Leadership Support: Minister Deepika Pandey Singh





Ranchi: Jharkhand’s Minister for Rural Development, Rural Works and Panchayati Raj, Mrs. Deepika Pandey Singh, on Saturday carried out an extensive public outreach campaign in the Hindpiri area in support of mayoral candidate Mrs. Rama Khalko for the Ranchi Municipal Corporation elections.



The minister conducted a padyatra (foot march) across Ward Nos. 22 and 23, interacting with residents and listening to their local issues and concerns.




Starting from Ekra Masjid, the march passed through Khalatoli, Qurban Chowk, Bhatti Chowk, Lakhouli, Chhoti Masjid, Islam Mohalla and concluded at Bada Talab. During the campaign, Mrs. Singh assured the people that the overall development of the area would be prioritised under strong and sensitive leadership in the municipal corporation.




Addressing the gathering, the minister said that Ranchi requires honest and dedicated leadership committed to public service in order to make the city clean, well-organised and development-oriented. She expressed confidence that Mrs. Rama Khalko is fully capable of fulfilling this responsibility.




The outreach programme witnessed the active participation of mayoral candidate Mrs. Rama Khalko, Congress leader Shamsher Alam, party workers and a large number of local citizens.
