London/Ranchi: On the occasion of Republic Day, Chief Minister Hemant Soren visited the historic residence of Bharat Ratna and Constitution Maker Dr. B.R. Ambedkar in London to pay tribute to him. The Chief Minister described the occasion as an extremely emotional, inspiring, and historic moment in his life.
Hemant Soren said that Dr. Ambedkar’s visionary leadership and foresight laid a strong foundation for establishing India, a country rich in diversity, as a strong, inclusive, and democratic nation. He added that Dr. Ambedkar’s principles of equality, social justice, and democratic values continue to guide the nation even today.
The Chief Minister further stated that Dr. Ambedkar not only gave the country a Constitution guaranteeing rights and equality but also ensured that every citizen could live with dignity, respect, and self-esteem. His ideas and ideals remain the strongest pillars of social justice and democracy in the country.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister also recorded his thoughts and reflections in the guest book at Dr. Ambedkar’s historic residence.
The Chief Minister was accompanied by his wife, Kalpana Murmu Soren, Chief Secretary Avinash Kumar, and officials from the Ambedkar Museum.
