Ranchi:The Blood Bank of Sadar Hospital, Ranchi, organised Honour Ceremony–2025 to recognise dozens of blood donation organisers and blood donation organisations from Ranchi district for their significant contributions in the field of blood donation. The ceremony was held at the auditorium of Sadar Hospital in the presence of senior health officials, doctors, and social workers.
On this occasion, “Lahu Bolega” Blood Donation Organisation, Ranchi was honoured for the sixth time for its continuous, selfless, and humanitarian service. The organisation’s founder, Blood Warrior Nadeem Khan, was felicitated with a memento and a certificate by Dr Prabhat Kumar, Civil Surgeon, Ranchi; Dr Bimlesh Singh, Deputy Superintendent; Dr Ranju Sinha, In-charge of the Blood Bank; Dr Pritish Pramey, ENT In-charge; Dr Akhilesh Jha; and Ms Venu Vandana, In-charge of Pathology.
Speaking on the occasion, the officials said that blood donation is the greatest means of saving lives, and organisations like “Lahu Bolega” are becoming a ray of hope for patients in need by spreading awareness and ensuring timely availability of blood. They appreciated the organisation’s consistent efforts and wished it continued success in the future.
Expressing gratitude on receiving the honour, the “Lahu Bolega” Blood Donation Organisation thanked Civil Surgeon Dr Prabhat Kumar, Deputy Superintendent
Dr Bimlesh Singh, and the entire team of Sadar Hospital and Sadar Blood Bank, Ranchi. The organisation stated that the recognition would further motivate them
to continue their commitment to humanitarian service with greater dedication.
Members of the “Lahu Bolega” organisation, including Nadeem Khan, Sanam Karim Khan, Akram Rashid, and Buland Akhtar, were also present at the honour ceremony and described the achievement as a collective success of the organisation and its blood donors.
