Ranchi: In view of the three-day Jharkhand visit of Hon’ble President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, scheduled from December 28 to 30, the Ranchi district administration has completed all security and administrative preparations. A high alert has been declared across the capital, and security arrangements have been made fully foolproof.
In this connection, a joint briefing of police officers, executive magistrates, and security personnel was held under the leadership of Ranchi Zonal IG Mr. Manoj Kaushik, Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Magistrate Ranchi Mr. Manjunath Bhajantri, and Senior Superintendent of Police Ranchi Mr. Rakesh Ranjan. During the briefing, the final shape was given to the security plan, and responsibilities were clearly assigned to all concerned officials.
Detailed discussions were held on the President’s route chart, program venues, security protocols, and emergency response mechanisms. Special instructions were issued to deploy police personnel equipped with wireless communication sets at major intersections, road cut-points, and sensitive locations. Emphasis was also laid on effective traffic management, crowd control, parking arrangements, and alternative routes.
To ensure the safe and smooth arrival of the President, a no-fly zone and other necessary security restrictions have been imposed around Birsa Munda Airport and along connected routes. The district administration has ensured that the general public faces minimum inconvenience during the President’s visit and that all programs are conducted smoothly and in an orderly manner.
