Ranchi: An inspiring example of humanity and social commitment was witnessed at the Blood Donation–Mahadaan Camp Fair held in the remote village of Dhalmunggarh (Nutangarh) in East Singhbhum district, located about 200 kilometers from Ranchi. The two-day historic camp, focused on blood donation and road safety awareness, saw active participation from the Lahoo Bolega team.
On the first day of the camp, approximately 300 units of blood were collected, while the target for the two-day event is 1,000 units. Notably, 916 units of blood were collected during the same event last year, making it a remarkable achievement.
Special arrangements were made for blood donors. All donors were provided with helmets, high-quality warm blankets, refreshments, full-day meals, and coffee. In addition, a cultural evening program was organized from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, adding a festive atmosphere to the event.
The event was successfully organized under the leadership of Mr. Sapan Kumar Mahto, President of the Kurmi Sanskriti Kalyan Samiti, along with his dedicated team, whose efforts were widely appreciated.
The program was graced by several distinguished guests, including a look-alike of legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan from Palamu, Jharkhand, Captain Dr. Surendra Kumar Saini of the Rakthveer Sena (Haryana), who has donated blood 252 times, Judge Ms. Mishra from Jamshedpur, the General Secretary of the Jharkhand Police Association, the BDO, District Council representatives, blood donation organizers from Odisha and Kolkata, and members of the organizing teams.
A major highlight of the event was the blood donation and awareness motorcycle rally comprising over 100 motorcycles from Kolkata, which received widespread appreciation.
