Bokaro: The birth anniversary of Dr Rajendra Prasad, the first President of India, was observed with reverence in Bokaro with a floral tribute ceremony held at his statue near Ispat Bhavan. The event saw participation from public representatives, senior administrators, and officials of Bokaro Steel Plant.
Among those who offered tributes were Bokaro MLA Shweta Singh, Deputy Commissioner Ajay Nath Jha, Designated DIC of Bokaro Steel Plant Priya Ranjan, Executive Director (Mines) Vikas Manvati, Executive Director (Materials Management) C. R. Mishra, Executive Director (Projects) Anish Sengupta, and Executive Director (Medical and Health Services) Dr B. B. Karunamay, along with other senior officers.
Speakers on the occasion recalled Dr Rajendra Prasad’s unwavering commitment to democratic values, his simplicity, and his lifelong dedication to the nation. The gathering reiterated the relevance of his ideals in today’s public life.
