A Beloved and Humble Social Worker, Amar Singh Samad, Passes Away

Ranchi/Chakradharpur: Amar Singh Samad, husband of A.I.T.U.C.’s courageous labour leader and the strong voice of the working class, Mrs. Ladu Jonko, passed away today after a prolonged illness. He was a resident of Loharda Panchayat under Khuntpani Block. His demise has cast a shadow of deep sorrow across the region.

Like his wife, Amar Singh Samad was known for tirelessly fighting for the rights of the oppressed, exploited and hardworking people. He never sought recognition or fame; instead, he firmly believed in standing beside the common people and supporting them in their struggles. He was widely respected as an honest, compassionate and committed social worker.

Strong Foundation in Education and Sports

Samad received his early education from Uligut Primary School in Loharda and later studied at Carmel Middle School, Chakradharpur. Alongside academics, he was also known as a talented football player. Whether on the field or in public life, his personality remained humble, disciplined and inspiring.

A Great Loss to the Community

Local residents, members of labour unions and social activists have expressed deep grief over his passing. They said:“Though he is no longer with us, his commitment to justice and his simplicity will continue to inspire future generations.”

Condolences to the Family

May the departed soul rest in peace, and may the bereaved family find strength and comfort during this difficult time.
