President Droupadi Murmu Creates History with Rafale Flight, Receives Guard of Honour from the Indian Air Force



Ranchi (Ambala) :President Droupadi Murmu made history on Wednesday morning by taking a sortie in the Rafale fighter aircraft from the Ambala Air Force Station. Dressed in a fighter pilot’s suit, the President boarded the Rafale jet and waved to the officials and personnel before takeoff.


For security reasons, flying drones in and around the Air Force Station was strictly prohibited during her visit.


The President arrived in Ambala at around 9:15 a.m. by a special aircraft. On her arrival, she was received by Air Chief Marshal Amar Preet Singh, Chief of the Air Staff. The Indian Air Force personnel presented her with a Guard of Honour as a mark of respect.


President Murmu’s flight in the Rafale is being seen as a historic and symbolic gesture, highlighting her deep respect and confidence in the Indian Air Force and the country’s defence capabilities.
