Ranchi :: The Central Committee of the Communist Party of India (Marxist–Leninist) Liberation has announced its support for the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) candidate in the by-election for the 45-Ghatshila (ST) Assembly constituency.
Party General Secretary Comrade Dipankar Bhattacharya expressed confidence that the BJP will face a decisive defeat in Ghatshila. He said that the INDIA alliance stands united with the JMM in this election. Comrade Dipankar Bhattacharya further expressed hope that the JMM candidate, Mr. Somesh Soren, will emerge victorious and fulfill the aspirations of the people of Ghatshila.
CPI(ML) MLAs Comrade Arup Chatterjee and Comrade Chandradev Mahato are in constant contact with the people of Ghatshila, and their election campaign in the region will begin shortly.
The CPI(ML) has cautioned the people of Jharkhand with the slogan — “When vigilance is lost, accidents happen.” The party asserted that without isolating the BJP in Jharkhand, the people’s struggle for jal, jungle, zameen (water, forest, and land) and employment cannot reach its goal.
The people of Jharkhand have not forgotten the corruption, corporate plunder, land grab from farmers, hunger, and unemployment that flourished under the BJP’s so-called “double-engine government.” By inflicting a crushing defeat on the BJP in the current by-election, the people must send a strong message to the Modi government in Delhi
that there is no space left for the BJP in Jharkhand and Bihar.
