Minority Commission is the Vigilant Guardian of Minority Rights – Matharu


Ranchi :: The Hon’ble Vice-Chairman of the Jharkhand State Minority Commission, Sardar Jyoti Singh Matharu, said that the Commission is a vigilant guardian of minority rights and is committed to addressing every legitimate demand of minority communities.

He was speaking today at the Jamshedpur Circuit House during a meeting with a delegation of the Jain community, led by Mr. Rajen P. Kamani. During the meeting, the delegation raised the demand for granting minority status to Narwe Ram Hansraj English School and Sakchi Jain English School. They also discussed in detail how the Jain community could benefit from state government welfare schemes for minorities, as well as issues related to the educational, social, and economic upliftment of the community.

Praising the contribution of the Jain community, Vice-Chairman Matharu said that although their population is comparatively small, their role in the nation’s progress, prosperity, and development has always been remarkable. He further added that under the leadership of Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren, the state government is running several schemes to connect minority communities with development and employment opportunities.

He informed that loans ranging from ₹50,000 to ₹25 lakh are being provided to members of minority communities, with attractive subsidy provisions included. Mr. Matharu assured the delegation that all their legitimate demands would be positively addressed.
