Kasipur, Purulia: The traditional Bhadu Parab, rooted in the memory of King of Kashipur’s daughter Bhadu Mani, was celebrated with cultural fervor in Kashipur on the concluding day of the Bhadra month. The festival, which originated after the untimely demise of the king’s beloved daughter, has grown into a people’s celebration marked by Bhadu folk songs and community spirit.
Today’s Bhadu song gathering in Kashipur was led by TMC secretary Soumen Beltharia, who extended warm greetings to the people on the occasion. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from locals, reflecting the cultural pride and emotional bond associated with Bhadu Parab in Purulia.
