Bokaro, August 29:
Director In-Charge of Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL), Birendra Kumar Tiwari, inaugurated the newly developed Ispat Udyan at Bokaro Railway Station. The initiative, taken up under BSL’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), is aimed at enhancing the city’s green spaces while providing a refreshing environment for travelers and residents.
The inauguration ceremony witnessed the presence of Executive Directors Suresh Rangani, P. K. Rath, Rajashree Banerjee, Vikas Manvati, C. R. Mishra, Anish Sengupta, and Priya Ranjan, along with Bokaro Divisional Railway Manager Vineet Kumar, senior officials from BSL and Indian Railways, and a large number of citizens from Bokaro who gathered to witness the occasion. Their participation reflected the community’s enthusiasm for the city’s new green landmark.
Speaking on the occasion, Director In-Charge Tiwari emphasized that BSL has consistently worked for community development and environmental sustainability. He said Ispat Udyan will not only provide a recreational and relaxation hub for passengers but also stand as a new identity for Bokaro city. He further highlighted that the park reflects the spirit of Atmanirbhar Bharat through a monument showcasing indigenous technology, coupled with modern amenities such as landscaped pathways, decorative structures, fountains, lush plantations, and advanced lighting.
