Speaker Rabindra Nath Mahato Reviews NeVA Digital Facilities in Jharkhand Assembly

Ranchi: Jharkhand Legislative Assembly Speaker Mr Rabindra Nath Mahato today inspected the digital equipment installed in the Assembly House for the operation of the National e-Vidhan Application (NeVA).

On Wednesday, Chief Minister Mr Hemant Soren will inaugurate the NeVA Service Centre in the Jharkhand Assembly. The programme will be attended by Leader of the Opposition Mr Babulal Marandi, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Mr Radhakrishna Kishore, along with all ministers and honourable members of the Assembly, who have also been invited.

During the inauguration event, ministers and members will be provided training on the technologies associated with the National e-Vidhan Application. The training session for honourable members will begin tomorrow at 12:30 PM in the Central Hall of the Jharkhand Assembly. The Assembly Secretariat has issued an official notice inviting all members and ministers to participate in the NeVA training programme.

As part of the training, computer tablets will be made available to members to facilitate the conduct of legislative business through the digital platform. The Assembly plans to begin partial operation of its proceedings through NeVA from the upcoming Budget Session.

🫛NeVA is an integrated digital platform that will enable paperless functioning of legislative activities related to the Jharkhand Assembly, including Question Hour, agenda papers, bills, resolutions, and calling attention notices. It will also help create a digital record of House proceedings and committee reports.
If you want, I can also make it shorter, more formal, or suitable for national-level English newspapers.
