Ranchi: The Students' Federation of India (SFI), Five Pargana unit, held an online meeting on Saturday under the chairmanship of student leader Jaganmohan Munda. Around 20 students from the Panch Pargana region participated in the meeting.
During the meeting, a resolution condemning the Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) was unanimously adopted. The organisation alleged that in the ongoing Class XI Intermediate examinations, the Panch Pargania language paper conducted on February 28 included questions from the Class IX syllabus instead of the prescribed Class XI curriculum.
Expressing strong resentment over the alleged discrepancy, SFI leaders stated that if appropriate marks are not awarded to all students in the subject, the Five Pargana unit of SFI would be compelled to stage a protest demonstration outside the JAC office.
The organisation also decided to send a delegation to meet the JAC Chairperson at the earliest and submit a memorandum regarding the issue. Those present at the meeting included Surju Munda, Anjali Kumari, Gautam, Manoj, Suraj, Priya, Ankit, Sonali, and Aman, along with other students.
