Tenure of New Director In-Charge Expected to Be Historic: AK Singh, BSOA President

The Department of Public Enterprises (DPE) has issued orders for the appointment of Priya Ranjan as the new Director In-Charge of Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL). 

BSOA President AK Singh said that BSL will benefit greatly from Priya Ranjan’s vast experience and leadership. Under his guidance, production parameters have improved, and several units of the plant have begun delivering stronger performance.

He expressed confidence that the new Director In-Charge will maintain a healthy work–life balance while keeping employee welfare at the forefront. Maintenance of residential quarters, strengthening hospital facilities, and ensuring employee safety and protection should remain top priorities, he added.

AK Singh also emphasized the importance of improving SAIL–BSL profitability so that the PVT of the last three years remains positive, which would support the forthcoming pay revision.

BSOA welcomed Priya Ranjan and extended best wishes for a successful, effective, and impactful tenure.
