Ranchi: The Ranchi district unit of the Students’ Federation of India (SFI) organized an important discussion on December 14 on the issue of increasing violations of human rights in the country. The programme was chaired by Comrade Khushboo, Co-Convenor of SFI Ranchi
Addressing the discussion as the main speaker, former Central Committee member of SFI, Comrade Ranjit Modak, spoke in detail about the present state of human rights in the country. He stated that democratic rights, freedom of expression, and the rights of minorities, Adivasis, and students are under continuous attack. In such a situation, organized and collective resistance is essential to counter these assaults.

be viewed separately from violations of human rights. He called upon students to unite and intensify struggles against these policies.

organize movement-oriented programmes on pressing student issues such as the right to education, campus safety, scholarships, hostel facilities, transportation, and employment.
