CPI (ML) Observes the 27th Death Anniversary of Comrade Vinod Mishra




Ranchi:: On the occasion of the 27th death anniversary of Comrade Vinod Mishra, the
CPI (ML) organized a pledge meeting at the Mahendra Singh Bhavan office in Jharkhand. The program began with the hoisting of the party flag, followed by a moment of silence and the offering of floral tributes. Thereafter, the pledge statement issued by the Party Central Committee was read out.



Addressing the gathering, Shubhendu Sen spoke about the life of Comrade Vinod Mishra and the struggles carried out by

 CPI (ML) over the years. He stated that while fascist forces are tightening their 

grip on the country, capitalism has

 reached a stage of shameless and naked exploitation. In such a situation, he said, the path of struggle adopted by CPI (ML) alone can provide a new direction to the people.



Speaking at the meeting, Party State Secretary Manoj Bhakt said that new challenges have emerged before the country in the fight against fascism. To confront these fascist forces, the party must move forward with renewed energy. He emphasized the need to intensify struggles both within and outside the party and called upon all comrades to unite and work together. He also stressed the importance of strengthening branch and local committees.



He further stated that mass organizations must actively come forward to strengthen the party organization. At the same time, movements on various public issues will be intensified, from the streets to Parliament.



It was announced that pledge meetings would be held in all branches from December 18 to December 24. In addition, from January 1 to January 9, the Adivasi Sangharsh Morcha will organize programs across the state. These programs will begin on January 1, marking the anniversary of the Kharsawan firing incident, and will conclude on January 9 at Dumbari Hill, commemorating the historic struggle there.



The program was conducted by M. D. Sohel Ansari. The meeting was also addressed by Mohan Dutt, Nandita Bhattacharya, R. N. Singh, AISA Secretary Triloki Nath, Sushila Tigga, Sudama Khalkho, Dr. V. K. Singh, and several other speakers.



Those present included AISA President Vibha Rani Pushpa, Vijay Kumar, Sonali Kewat, representatives of the All India Progressive Women’s Association—Shanti Sen, Aiti Tirkey, Geeta Tirkey, Sushma Gadi, Sumi Oraon, Kanchan Oraon, Charki Devi, Shanti Kodia, Pyari Kundla, Manju Devi—as well as Mahasangh representatives Shyamlal Chaudhary, Gopal Sharan Singh, Sachchidanand Kumar Rai, Mahesh Verma, along with a large number of party members and activists from mass organizations.
