Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL) has registered outstanding production milestones under the dynamic leadership of Executive Director (Works) Priya Ranjan, further strengthening its legacy of excellence within the SAIL group.
The Sinter Plant created history by achieving a record daily production of 19,088 tonnes of gross sinter on November 5, 2025, despite operating with only 2.5 machines. It also recorded its highest-ever monthly production of 5,01,078 tonnes in October 2025, setting new benchmarks for efficiency and teamwork.
Similarly, the Hot Strip Mill (HSM) achieved a significant feat by producing 3,66,436 tonnes of HR coils in October, surpassing its previous best of 3,65,236 tonnes set in 2007 — breaking an 18-year-old record.
These achievements stand as a testament to the inspirational leadership of Priya Ranjan, whose focus on discipline, technical excellence, and collaborative work culture continues to motivate teams across departments. Under his guidance, BSL is steadily enhancing its production performance while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
