On the 25th Foundation Year, Jharkhand Launches a Special Blood Donation Drive — Camps to Be Organized in All Districts

Ranchi. On the occasion of completing 25 years of its formation, the Government of Jharkhand is set to organize a special blood donation campaign across the state from November 12 to November 28. The objective of this initiative is to ensure the timely availability of safe blood for patients in need and to raise public awareness about voluntary blood donation.

Under the leadership of the Department of Health, Medical Education and Family Welfare, special blood donation camps will be organized at various locations in all districts of the state. Government institutions, colleges, social organizations, the Red Cross Society, and voluntary groups will actively participate in this campaign.

According to departmental officials, the drive aims to make blood donation a social movement across Jharkhand. District administrations have been instructed to collaborate with local hospitals, blood banks, and voluntary organizations to encourage maximum public participation.

During the campaign, all necessary health and safety protocols will be strictly followed at every camp. Blood donors will be provided with certificates and awareness materials to spread a positive message about the importance of blood donation in society.

Based on the theme “One Unit of Blood – A Hope for Many Lives,” this special initiative is seen as a significant step toward promoting humanitarian cooperation and social sensitivity throughout the state.
