Shooting of the film “Bawarchi Khana” to commence soon in Lucknow: Tanveer Hussain Rizvi

On 11 September 2025, Creative Films and Television Academy organized a press conference at their office at 16 Subhash Marg, near Canara Bank, Lucknow, to officially announce the production of their first feature film, “Bawarchi Khana: Healthy and Unhealthy Relationships.”

During the event, Executive Producer Tanveer Hussain Rizvi shared that the film’s shooting will soon begin at various locations across Uttar Pradesh.

Writer and Director Chaudhary Zia Imam described the film as “an experimental cinematic journey that will touch the hearts of audiences and present relationships in a fresh, innovative way.” Zia Imam, who transitioned from journalism and writing to filmmaking, added that the film is planned for an international release.

Co-Producer Shanti Swaroop highlighted that the story, rooted in Lucknow, is being prepared for international audiences. He also mentioned that the film’s songs are ready and will be recorded in Mumbai.

Creative Producer and renowned Lucknow-based writer S.N. Lal praised the story, saying, “The narrative is strong and contains all the elements that a compelling story should have. Now, everything will depend on its cinematic treatment.”

Creative Director Parvez Zaidi spoke about the film’s message, stating: “Relationships are like the dishes in a kitchen – the way you prepare them is exactly what you will experience in life.”

Line Producer Dilawar Hussain confirmed that the casting will primarily involve talent from Uttar Pradesh, with auditions to begin shortly. The film’s shooting is expected to commence very soon.

This film will be produced in accordance with international standards, so that this project, created in Lucknow, can be recognized and appreciated at global film festivals. The film is planned to be showcased at several prestigious international festivals, including Goa and Berlin. It is noteworthy that the writer and director of the film, Choudhary Zia Imam, has already had several books published by international publishers, and now he is set to explore his creative talent in the world of cinema as well.

Concluding the event, Executive Producer Tanveer Hussain Rizvi, on behalf of Creative Films and Television Academy, expressed gratitude to all the guests who attended the press conference. On this occasion, he especially thanked senior journalist Tahir Hussain Hashmi. Also present were Manzoor Ali, the Uttar Pradesh distributor representative of Rajshri Film Production and Magnum Film. In addition, theatre director Naeem Khan, advocate Syed Ali Akhtar, and actor Sandeep were also in attendance at the press conference.
