Bokaro, September 26, 2025:
A one-day Finance and Cost Workshop for Chief General Managers of Bokaro Steel Plant’s Works Division was held at the Learning & Development Centre, aimed at strengthening financial acumen among senior leadership.
Executive Director (Works) Priya Ranjan led the inaugural session with a detailed presentation on the steel industry landscape, sharing insights on key challenges and opportunities for the Plant and emphasizing the importance of linking operational decisions with financial outcomes. The session was attended by senior executives including ED (Finance) Suresh Rangani, ED (HR) Rajshree Banerjee, ED (MM) C.R. Mishra, and ED (Projects) A. Sengupta.
Interactive sessions, conducted by CGM (Finance) N.K. Singh and S. Mallick from MTI Ranchi, combined case studies, problem-solving exercises, and group discussions to help participants translate strategic decisions into measurable financial impact.
The workshop underlined SAIL-Bokaro’s focus on fostering leadership that drives sustainable growth through informed, financially sound decision-making.
