Pelaul Bridge Diversion Work to Begin Soon: Ramsurya Munda

Ranchi, August 25: The diversion work near the collapsed bridge over the Banai River, located close to Pelaul village on the Khunti-Torpa-Kolebira main road, will begin soon. This was confirmed by Khunti MLA Ramsurya Munda, who stated that the tender process has been completed and construction will commence once the monsoon rains subside.
The project, estimated to cost ₹1.80 crore, aims to restore connectivity for residents who have been facing difficulties in commuting since the bridge collapse.
“The construction work will be carried out swiftly to ensure early resumption of transportation for the public,” said Munda. He emphasized that the promises made during the election campaign are being fulfilled, citing the opening of the women’s college in Khunti as one of the completed commitments.
“I remain among the people, and anyone from Khunti can reach out to me directly with their concerns,” he added.

Representative Removed for Indiscipline
In a separate announcement, MLA Munda confirmed the removal of his Khunti constituency representative, Kamlesh Mahato. When asked for the reason, he stated that the decision was taken due to disciplinary issues.
