Rural Areas Are Full of Talent, Need More Opportunities and Guidance: Governor



Baharagora/Ranchi: Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar addressed the Pratibha Samman Samaroh-2026 held at Dev Vatika in Baharagora, East Singhbhum district, where meritorious students who excelled in the Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations were felicitated. Congratulating the students, the Governor said that rural areas possess immense talent and that the need of the hour is to provide young minds with proper opportunities, guidance, and encouragement.


Speaking on the occasion, the Governor said that the greatest asset of any society is its youth and that educated, cultured, and responsible young people constitute the real strength of the nation. He emphasized that the purpose of education is not limited to securing employment but also includes character building, social awareness, and developing a sense of responsibility toward the nation.


He noted that events such as the Pratibha Samman Samaroh not only encourage local talent but also serve as a source of inspiration for future generations. Urging students to set high goals in life, he called upon them to work continuously and sincerely toward achieving their aspirations.


The Governor said that becoming a good human being is even more important than becoming a successful person. Encouraging students to uphold values of humility, culture, and humanity, he advised them to use their talent and knowledge not only for personal success but also for the welfare of society and the nation.


Expressing confidence in the youth of Jharkhand, he said that through their hard work, talent, and values, they would bring pride not only to their families and communities but also to the state and the country.


After the programme, Governor Gangwar shared a meal with the meritorious students and interacted with them. He enquired about their dreams, goals, and future plans and motivated them to continue striving for excellence in their chosen fields.
