Ranchi: A review meeting regarding the successful implementation of the Anaemia Mukt Bharat (AMB) programme and AEBAS (Aadhaar Enabled Biometric Attendance System) portal was held on Friday under the chairmanship of Civil Surgeon Ranchi, Dr. Prabhat Kumar.
The meeting was attended by District Programme Manager Praveen Kumar Singh, Regional Coordinator Shweta Verma, Annapurna from UNICEF, Neeraj from Evidence Action, Block Programme Managers of all Community Health Centres of the district, along with other concerned officials and staff members.
During the meeting, the activities being conducted under the Anaemia Mukt Bharat programme were reviewed, while the progress of the scheme and future action plans were also discussed in detail. Discussions were also held regarding regular updation of employees’ attendance and details on the AEBAS portal.
Civil Surgeon Dr. Prabhat Kumar stated that, as per the instructions received, it is mandatory to regularly upload the details and attendance of all employees on the AEBAS portal to ensure transparency in salary payments and other administrative works.
He also issued necessary directions to strengthen anaemia control initiatives and maternal-child health services across the district. Furthermore, all concerned officials and staff were instructed to upload data on the HMIS portal on time so that it could be reflected promptly on the AMB dashboard.
During the meeting, all blocks were also directed to submit their RI microplans at the earliest.
