AAI Team Meets Deputy Commissioner After Inspecting Bokaro Airport

 

Additional Collector Appointed Nodal Officer, Coordination Measures Directed


Bokaro, April 15: A team from the Airport Authority of India (AAI) met Deputy Commissioner Ajay Nath Jha at the Collectorate office on Wednesday following an inspection of Bokaro Airport, sharing key observations and findings.


The team conducted a comprehensive review of the airport’s current operational status, existing infrastructure, safety and emergency arrangements, communication systems, and surrounding environmental conditions. Special attention was also given to flight operations, particularly training activities and non-scheduled operations (NSOP).


Taking serious note of the inputs presented, the Deputy Commissioner directed concerned officials to ensure effective coordination and expedite necessary follow-up actions. He emphasized that all processes related to airport operations should be completed on a priority basis.


To streamline coordination among departments, Additional Collector Mo Mumtaz Ansari has been designated as the nodal officer for the initiative.


The AAI team was led by AGM (CNS) Dileep Kumar Sinha.
