DIC Priya Ranjan’s Initiative Brings Diverse Regional Flavours To City Residents
Bokaro: Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL) is set to host a vibrant “Food Street” event on March 22, 2026, offering residents a unique blend of taste and culture. The special initiative will feature a wide range of traditional food stalls representing different regions of India, giving visitors an opportunity to experience the country’s diverse culinary heritage at one location.
A major attraction of the event will be the rich and flavourful cuisine of Punjab. Visitors will be able to enjoy several popular Punjabi delicacies including Patiala Chaap, Malai Chaap, Afghani Chaap, Chole Bhature, Chole Kulche, a variety of Parathas, Rajma Chawal, Dahi Vada and Punjabi-style vegetarian and non-vegetarian curries. Traditional desserts and beverages such as Phirni and various kinds of authentic Lassi will also be available, enhancing the festive culinary experience.
The event is being organised under the guidance of DIC Priya Ranjan with the objective of creating a lively cultural atmosphere and providing Bokaro residents an opportunity to explore authentic regional flavours from across the country.
Notably, this will be the first-ever Food Street event organised by Bokaro Steel Plant. The event will take place on the road connecting Gandhi Chowk in Sector-4 to Bokaro Mall, where multiple food stalls representing different parts of India will be set up.
BSL has invited city residents to attend the event with their families and enjoy this unique celebration of food, culture and community.
