Senior Scientist G.V.K. Subramanyam Briefs CM on Indigenous Cancer Treatment Machine





Ranchi: Senior scientist Mr. G.V.K. Subramanyam paid a courtesy visit to Chief Minister Mr. Hemant Soren at the Chief Minister’s Residential Office today. During the meeting, Mr. Subramanyam provided detailed information about an advanced cancer treatment machine developed by him.



He informed the Chief Minister that the machine has been designed using indigenous technology and is currently being used in several leading hospitals in India and abroad. He stated that the machine has proven to be highly effective in the treatment of cancer, a serious and life-threatening disease.



Appreciating Mr. Subramanyam’s efforts, the Chief Minister said that the machine would be nothing less than a boon for cancer patients. He added that such innovations can make successful treatment of complex diseases like cancer possible.



The Chief Minister further stated that the state government is continuously taking concrete steps to strengthen the healthcare infrastructure. Modern diagnostic and treatment facilities are being made available in hospitals across the state.




Expressing concern over the increasing number of cancer patients, he said the government is committed to ensuring that people suffering from cancer receive advanced treatment facilities within the state itself. The government is ready to take all necessary measures in this direction.




It is noteworthy that Mr. G.V.K. Subramanyam is the Managing Director of Panacea Limited, Bengaluru. He has also worked closely with former President of India, late Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, and collaborated with him on several research and development projects.



The cancer treatment machine developed by Mr. Subramanyam is currently being used for cancer care in major hospitals both in India and overseas.
