Ranchi: On the appeal of the Honorable Governor of Jharkhand, Shri Santosh Kumar Gangwar, a grand Blood Donation Maha-Yagya camp was organized today at Birsa Mandap, Lok Bhavan. This was the first such historic event of its kind in the history of Jharkhand. The camp was inaugurated by the Honorable Governor himself.
On this occasion, members of Lahoo Bolega Blood Donation Organization, Ranchi and the Jharkhand Thalassemia Patients Association, along with the families of patients, actively participated and donated a total of 10 units of blood. Their contribution to this noble cause of humanity became a source of inspiration for society.
The organizers stated that such programs not only help save lives but also spread awareness about the importance of regular blood donation. They appealed to the general public to come forward and participate in this noble cause.
Those who donated blood included blood donation motivator and the first organizer of a blood donation drive from a mosque in Ranchi, Maulana Dr. Obaidullah Qasmi; Lahoo Bolega’s Blood Warrior Nadeem Khan; Advocate Azhar Khan, President of the Legal Cell of Anjuman Islamia Ranchi; Thalassemia patients’ family coordinator Prakash Toppo; Pandit Ajit Mishra; Suranjan Bada; special educator for persons with disabilities and Blood Warrior Pavel Kumar; Blood Friend Abu Rehan; Tausif Khan; Md. Mojahid Islam; Md. Rahil Rahman; Md. Sahabul; Vaidya Khuleshwar Mahto; along with Akram Rashid, Buland Akhtar, Santosh Mahto, Om Prakash Mahto, and Md. Rashid.
