Ranchi: Today, Jharkhand Chief Minister Mr. Hemant Soren was formally met at the Chief Minister’s Residential Office by Jharkhand Pradesh Congress in-charge Mr. K. Raju, Jharkhand Pradesh Congress President Mr. Keshav Mahato Kamlesh, and MLA Mr. Rajesh Kachhap. The meeting took place in a cordial atmosphere.
On this occasion, the Congress leaders congratulated the Chief Minister on the approval of the PESA Rules by the State Council of Ministers. They described the decision as historic and significant for the tribal and Scheduled Areas of Jharkhand, stating that it would strengthen the role of the Gram Sabha and reinforce local self-governance.
Chief Minister Mr. Hemant Soren thanked the leaders for their greetings and stated that the state government remains committed to protecting the constitutional rights of the tribal communities. He added that the effective implementation of the PESA Rules would strengthen grassroots democracy and ensure greater participation of local communities in the development process.
During the meeting, the leaders also exchanged New Year 2026 greetings and best wishes, expressing hope for the state’s progress, social harmony, and inclusive development.
