Kashipur: In a significant step towards strengthening grassroots governance, TMC Secretary Soumen Beltharia laid the foundation stone of the Amader Para, Amader Samadhan initiative at Kashipur Block, reinforcing the focus on neighbourhood-level problem-solving and participatory development.
Addressing the gathering, Soumen Beltharia said the programme is designed to ensure that civic issues are resolved directly at the local level through active public involvement and coordinated administrative support. He stressed that transparency, accountability, and prompt action are the core pillars of this initiative.
The programme will focus on improving basic infrastructure, sanitation, drinking water supply, and other essential civic amenities. Beltharia urged residents to come forward with their concerns and actively participate in shaping local development.
Local representatives, party workers, officials, and a large number of residents attended the ceremony. The community welcomed the initiative with optimism, expressing confidence that long-pending issues would now receive focused and timely solutions.
