Bokaro, 1 August 2025 –
SAIL’s Chief Vigilance Officer S N Gupta visited Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL) on 1 August and inaugurated a two-day LEO (Learning from Each Other) workshop, alongside Director In-Charge Birendra Kumar Tiwari. The workshop is being attended by vigilance officers from across SAIL units.
During the event, Gupta launched BSL’s e-Vigil module, a digital initiative to enhance vigilance transparency, backed by Tiwari’s leadership in ethical governance.
He also visited the Ispat Bhawan model room, where he was briefed by Tiwari on the plant’s layout and operations. Other officials, including ACVO Gyanesh Jha and COC M K Dhan, were present.
Gupta later toured key production units and held meetings with senior BSL officials. He is scheduled to address planning engineers on 2 August.
