This year marks the beginning of Student and Culture & Tourism Film Festivals alongside the Children’s Festival
JIFF is also organizing a 2 to 7-Minute Film Making Competition
Jaipur, August 21, 2025 – Under the banner of the Jaipur International Film Festival (JIFF), this August will conclude with a grand cinematic celebration. Founder Director Hanu Roj announced that four major film festivals will be organized simultaneously:
8th Aryan International Children’s Film Festival of Jaipur (AICFF) 2025
10th Sixteen International Film Festivals (16IFF) 2025
Launching Edition – Culture & Tourism Film Festival (CTFF)
Launching Edition – World Student Film Festival (WSFF)
Festival Dates: August 28–29, 2025
Venues: Various Schools in Jaipur
Ryan International School, VT Road
Dolphin High School, Pratap Nagar
Vardhman International School, Mansarovar
Gyan Vihar School, Malviya Nagar
This year, the festival received over 500 film submissions from 55 countries. Out of these, 159 films from 37 countries have been nominated, and 71 films from 15 countries will be screened across two days.
A special highlight is the 2 to 7-Minute Film Making Competition organized by JIFF, with 42 films nominated from students of 29 schools and 8 colleges across India. Out of these, 38 films will be screened. Students have created innovative short films on themes of art, culture, and contemporary issues.
The purpose of these festivals is not only to provide a platform for children and young filmmakers to showcase their creativity but also to foster a global perspective, encourage collaboration, and initiate dialogue on sensitive issues.
Winners and the Best Films will be announced during the festivals.
Entry will be restricted to students of the host and invited schools, along with nominated filmmakers.
It is noteworthy that the 18th edition of the Jaipur International Film Festival (JIFF) will be celebrated on a grand scale in January 2026.
