Ranchi: An important video conferencing session regarding the medical screening and vaccination of Haj pilgrims for Haj 2026 was held on 05 February 2026 at Haj House, Kadru, Ranchi.
During the meeting, Jharkhand’s Hon’ble Health Minister Dr. Irfan Ansari directed all Civil Surgeons across the state to ensure that Haj pilgrims do not face any inconvenience during the medical screening and vaccination process.
The Health Minister stated that providing better healthcare facilities to Haj pilgrims is a top priority of the state government.
The Civil Surgeon of Ranchi was physically present during the video conference. Civil Surgeons from various districts assured that the medical screening of Haj pilgrims would be completed within the stipulated timeline, i.e., before 07 February 2026, and the vaccination process would be carried out thereafter.
It was also clarified that all necessary medical examinations for Haj pilgrims would be conducted completely free of cost.
The video conferencing concluded successfully, with the Hon’ble Health Minister issuing all required instructions and guidelines.
