31 Hon’ble Judges from 9 High Courts Across the Country Display Outstanding Sportsmanship
Ranchi :: The 2nd All India Judges Badminton Championship 2026, organized under the aegis of the Hon’ble Jharkhand High Court, concluded successfully on Sunday. This prestigious national-level tournament was held from January 3 to January 4, 2026, at the Thakur Vishwanath Shahdeo Indoor Stadium, Mega Sports Complex, located in the Khelgaon campus, Ranchi.
A total of 31 Hon’ble Judges from 9 different High Courts across the country participated in the championship. Matches were played in four categories—Men’s Singles, Women’s Singles, Men’s Doubles, and Mixed Doubles. The participants exhibited a high level of discipline, sportsmanship, and exceptional playing skills, making the tournament both competitive and inspiring.
During the closing ceremony, the Hon’ble Chief Justice of the Jharkhand High Court, Justice Mr. Tarlok Singh Chauhan, felicitated the winners and runners-up. Addressing the gathering, dignitaries emphasized that such sporting events play a vital role in promoting physical and mental well-being among members of the judiciary while strengthening mutual harmony, cooperation, and the spirit of sportsmanship.
