Bokaro Steel Plant recorded its best-ever performance in November 2025, marking major gains in production, quality, and operational efficiency. Under the leadership of designated DIC Priya Ranjan and ED (Operations) Anoop Kumar Dutt, the plant achieved several new benchmarks.
Sinter Machine-2.5 registered a record daily output of 19,514 tonnes, while granulated slag production touched 6,850 tonnes. Monthly sinter output stood at 5.27 lakh tonnes. Coal chemical sales increased significantly to ₹106.3 crore.
Downstream units showed steady growth with CR saleable production at 1.21 lakh tonnes and total steel dispatch at 3.55 lakh tonnes. Energy consumption improved to 6.392 Gcal/tcs. The plant also marked two major technical achievements with the first-ever production of high-tensile automotive grade ISC550LA and a record 35 heats cast from a single tundish in SMS-II.
