Ranchi:: Jharkhand’s popular, people-centric, and dynamic Health Minister, Dr. Irfan Ansari, laid the foundation stone for the construction of a high-level bridge between Manjladih and Ahardih at Joria, located in Panchayat Sabanpur under Narayanpur Block. The ceremony was held in the presence of a massive gathering of local residents.
This moment is historic, long-awaited, and marks the beginning of a new chapter of development for the entire region. The construction of this bridge will not only enhance connectivity but also accelerate employment, education, agriculture, and all day-to-day activities of the people.
Addressing the foundation-laying ceremony, Minister Dr. Irfan Ansari became emotional. He said, “During the election, my vehicle got stuck right here at this Joria. At that moment, I resolved that if I win, I will ensure the construction of this bridge; otherwise, I will never return to this village. Today, I am fulfilling that promise. I am overwhelmed with joy. The large turnout of people proves that the public truly loves me from their hearts.”
He further added that this bridge would become the lifeline of the entire area. Nearby villages and panchayats will now be easily connected to the main road network.
Dr. Ansari informed that once the bridge is constructed, students will benefit from improved mobility, farmers will find it easier to take their produce to the market, villages will be directly connected to the block headquarters, new opportunities for trade and employment will emerge, and health and emergency services will become faster and more accessible. He said the bridge would usher the region into a new era of development.
The minister also mentioned the negative atmosphere created by the BJP during the elections. He said, “The BJP tried to create an impression during the elections as if they were solely targeting me. But the wise people here rejected the BJP completely and gave me a victory by 50,000 votes, giving me the opportunity to serve again. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to everyone.”
He emphasized that the public mandate has always been in favor of development. Being elected as an MLA for the third consecutive time, he said the trust of the people is visible on the ground through continuous development works.
Dr. Ansari proudly said, “Today, hardly any village or area in my constituency remains where roads or bridges have not been constructed. Development is my commitment, not a political agenda.”
A huge crowd of villagers gathered at the inauguration site. Local residents, women, students, farmers, and youth participated with enthusiasm. The minister was welcomed with drums, traditional music, and garlands. The happiness and hopes of the villagers were clearly visible throughout the event.
In the end, the minister said, “For me, politics is a medium of service. As long as I have the trust of the people, this journey of development will continue at an even faster pace. This bridge is not just a structure of stone and iron—it is a symbol of the people’s faith and the fulfillment of our promise.”
