Ranchi::: Revolutionary change is impossible without revolutionary ideology. Strengthening the ideological foundation of the party’s mass base is therefore essential. With this aim, the CPI(M) has organized a two-day educational camp for leading comrades at the Safdar Hashmi Auditorium in Ranchi. The camp was inaugurated by State Secretary Prakash Viplav.
Prakash Viplav said that today the world order is shifting from unipolar to multipolar, and the contradiction between imperialism and socialism is becoming sharper. Against the backdrop of U.S. President Trump arbitrarily imposing 50 percent tariffs on several countries, India’s participation in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) alongside China has challenged American hegemony.
In the first session of the camp, former Central Committee member Arun Mishra conducted a class on Marxist Philosophy. He said that before Marx, philosophers merely interpreted the world, but Marx presented the framework for changing it. He emphasized that no philosophy can be class-neutral and that every individual, in their own way, is a philosopher.
The session began with Dr. Kashi Nath Chatterjee outlining the two-day program schedule and topics. Afterwards, participants were divided into five groups for discussion. The questions raised were addressed in a Q&A session chaired by Sameer Das.A total of 107 leading comrades from 19 districts of the state are attending the camp.
