Under the leadership of township chief Kundan Kumar and GM A.K. Singh, the BSL town administration department has introduced an organised parking facility at City Centre, Sector 4. Operated by a vendor, the facility aims to bring order to parking and ease traffic congestion in the city’s busiest commercial hub.
City Centre, the heart of Bokaro’s business activity, had long suffered from unregulated parking, causing inconvenience to shoppers, traders, and commuters. With the department’s guidance and coordination among all concerned units, the facility is now operational, offering both convenience and improved traffic discipline.
Launched just ahead of the festive season, the initiative has been welcomed by residents and shopkeepers who believe it will make shopping easier and reduce traffic chaos.
By addressing a civic issue that had persisted for years, the BSL town administration department has set a benchmark for proactive urban management, demonstrating how timely action can enhance public convenience and improve the city’s overall quality of life.
