SAIL CMD Dr. Ashok Kumar Panda Concludes Bokaro Visit
Bokaro: Dr. Ashok Kumar Panda, Chairman and Managing Director of Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), concluded his two-day visit to Bokaro after holding a series of review meetings with senior officials of Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL) and interacting with representatives of various trade unions. BSL Director In-Charge Priya Ranjan was present during the engagements.
Reviewing the plant’s performance and future growth roadmap, Dr. Panda appreciated the efforts being made under the leadership of Priya Ranjan and expressed full confidence in his ability to steer the plant towards greater achievements. He noted that Bokaro Steel Plant possesses immense potential for growth and operational excellence and that the current leadership is well positioned to translate these opportunities into tangible results.
Dr. Panda emphasized that the success of any organization depends on the commitment, dedication and active participation of its employees and workforce. He called for continued collective efforts, innovation, a culture of excellence and a spirit of continuous improvement to drive the plant’s progress.
Before departing from Bokaro on May 31, Dr. Panda planted a sapling at the Bokaro residential complex, reaffirming SAIL’s commitment to environmental sustainability. His visit is being viewed as a significant step towards strengthening growth initiatives, fostering management-worker engagement and accelerating the future development of Bokaro Steel Plant.
